Bali Family Photography Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 A booking is confirmed once we receive the required deposit payment and issue a confirmation invoice.
1.2 A 30% deposit is required to secure your family photography session date. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the photoshoot by cash (Indonesian Rupiah), bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, or approved cryptocurrency payment.
1.3 PayPal payments are subject to an additional 5% service fee. Any bank transfer fees or currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the client.
1.4 All prices listed are for photography services only unless otherwise stated. Entrance tickets, parking fees, transportation, location permits, or other third-party charges are not included.
1.5 Reservations are subject to photographer availability and are recommended at least three (3) days before the session date.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
2.1 Clients will receive a full refund of the deposit if cancellation is made at least seven (7) days before the scheduled session date.
2.2 Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the session date.
2.3 In case of no-show without prior notice, all payments made will be forfeited.
2.4 Rescheduling requests are accepted subject to photographer availability. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to change your session date.
2.5 If severe weather conditions, natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control prevent the session from taking place, we will offer rescheduling whenever possible. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund will be provided after deducting a USD 30 administration and transportation fee. Refunds will be issued in cash.
3. Photography Style & Session Expectations
3.1 Our photography style focuses on natural, relaxed, candid, and emotion-driven moments.
3.2 We will guide clients with simple posing directions when needed, but we aim to capture genuine family interactions and real expressions.
3.3 Family sessions involving children may be unpredictable. We do our best to capture meaningful moments, but cooperation from children cannot be guaranteed.
3.4 Clients are encouraged to arrive on time. Late arrivals may reduce the actual shooting duration.
3.5 For safety and quality reasons, the photographer may adjust locations, timing, or session flow depending on weather, lighting, crowd conditions, or environmental factors.
4. Photo Selection & Editing
4.1 The number of delivered photos depends on the package selected and the flow of the session.
4.2 All delivered images will be professionally selected and edited in our signature style, including color correction, brightness adjustment, contrast balancing, and general image enhancement.
4.3 Advanced retouching such as body reshaping, face swapping, object removal, or heavy digital manipulation is not included unless specifically agreed in advance.
4.4 RAW or unedited files are not included and will not be delivered unless stated otherwise in writing.
4.5 The photographer retains full creative discretion regarding image selection and editing style.
5. Delivery
5.1 Final edited photos are delivered through an online download gallery or cloud storage link.
5.2 Delivery time for family photography sessions is generally within two (2) to three (3) weeks unless otherwise stated.
5.3 Express delivery may be available upon request with additional charges.
5.4 Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their photos after delivery.
6. Copyright & Usage
6.1 All photographs remain the copyright property of the photographer.
6.2 Clients receive personal usage rights for printing, sharing with friends and family, and posting on personal social media accounts.
6.3 Images may not be sold, commercially published, edited with heavy filters, entered into contests, or used for business advertising without written permission from the photographer.
6.4 We reserve the right to use selected images for portfolio display, website content, social media, marketing, competitions, and promotional purposes unless the client requests privacy in writing before the session date.
7. Liability
7.1 In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, accident, natural disaster, or any situation beyond our control, liability is limited to a full refund of payments received.
7.2 While every reasonable effort is made to provide excellent service and secure file handling, we are not responsible for circumstances outside our control including weather, traffic delays, location restrictions, or data loss caused by third-party storage providers.
7.3 Clients are responsible for their own safety and belongings during the session.
8. Agreement
By confirming the booking and making payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
