When Surya first contacted me about their wedding anniversary photoshoot in Bali, they wanted something simple, relaxed, and enjoyable. Instead of choosing a formal pre-wedding session, they booked my half-day photoshoot package. They wanted to spend the day exploring Bali together while capturing natural memories along the way.
Many people usually associate half-day or full-day photoshoots with family sessions. Over time, I have also had many couples choose these packages for anniversary trips or casual couple sessions in Bali. Compared to a traditional pre-wedding shoot, the atmosphere feels much more relaxed. The focus is simply enjoying the day together while documenting real moments naturally.
This type of session is designed to be flexible and easygoing. It works perfectly for couples who prefer something less formal during their holiday. Unlike my dedicated pre-wedding photography packages, these sessions do not include services such as a makeup artist, lighting assistant, or transportation arrangements. My pre-wedding packages are prepared more completely for couples who want a fully organized experience with all those inclusions during the shoot.

We started the session early in the morning at Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort, where Surya and Vandy were staying during their Bali trip. The hotel has a calm atmosphere with many beautiful corners for photos. Starting at their hotel also helped them feel comfortable in front of the camera before we continued to other locations.
After spending some time around the resort, we continued to Melasti Beach. The beach looked beautiful during the morning hours. The soft light, dramatic cliffs, and clear ocean views created a perfect setting for anniversary photos. Some moments felt quiet and romantic, while others were spontaneous and playful. They laughed together while enjoying the waves near the shoreline. Those unplanned moments always become some of my favorite photos because they feel honest and natural.

For the final destination, Surya and Vandy wanted to visit Alas Harum Bali mainly to try the famous Bali swing. It was a fun way to end the session before noon after visiting several locations together. Even after hours of shooting, they still carried the same positive energy from the beginning. That made the entire session feel effortless from start to finish.
What I personally enjoy about anniversary sessions is how genuine they feel. There is already comfort, trust, and connection built through years together. That naturally appears in the photos without needing too much direction. Surya and Vandy made the whole session feel easy and enjoyable, and I am really happy to have been part of this special celebration during their Bali holiday.
Wishing both of you many more years of happiness, love, laughter, and new adventures together. Thank you again for trusting me to capture such a meaningful chapter of your journey in Bali.
