Amy contacted me to book a family photography session during their Bali holiday. Unfortunately, I already had another session that day, so I recommended my associate photographer, Junz.
The session took place at Villa Kresna by the Sea and the nearby beach. The location gave us a beautiful mix of relaxed villa moments and soft sunset light by the ocean.
I love how natural this session feels. Nothing felt overly posed or forced. The children played, explored, ran around, and enjoyed the evening together while Junz captured the moments naturally.
Villa Kresna by the Sea created a calm atmosphere for candid family portraits. The tropical surroundings and soft natural light worked perfectly for relaxed photographs. Later, we moved to the beach for more playful moments during sunset. The kids ran through the water, laughed together, and enjoyed the beautiful evening by the ocean.
Amy mentioned that her 4-year-old son did not really enjoy having his photo taken. Even so, Junz made the session feel fun and comfortable for him. His personality and genuine smiles really shine through in the photos.
This session also shows the experience and quality my associate photographer provides. I always want families to feel comfortable and relaxed during their session, even when I am personally unavailable.

“Iwan was wonderful to deal with from start to finish. He was very quick to respond to my initial enquiry, with great communication in the lead up to the shoot and delivery of over 100 wonderful images within the timeframe promised. We had his associate Junz take our photos. He arrived early to our hotel with no issues and with enough time to scope out some good backdrops. He was also happy to be flexible and take our suggestions too. My 4 year old son was a difficult subject not really wanting to have his photo taken, and Junz did a remarkable job getting so many with him smiling and having a genuinely fun time. Thanks Iwan and Junz. I’m so happy with the family moments you captured for us and look forward to having memories of this great family holiday up around our homes. Family holidays pass so quickly, and sessions like this are a beautiful reminder of those small moments together. The laughter, the sandy feet, the playful energy, and the quiet in-between moments are often the memories families treasure most years later.
