Family Photoshoot at Ayodya Resort Bali – Elda & Family

There’s something special about photographing families at Ayodya Resort Bali. The resort offers a beautiful combination of lush tropical gardens, wide open lawns, elegant Balinese architecture, and direct beach access, giving us a variety of natural backdrops within a short walking distance.

For Elda and her family, we started the session at my favorite time of day, around 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM. The light is softer during this period and creates warm, flattering tones. It is also a comfortable time for children to play and enjoy the session.

My photography style focuses on candid and natural moments. I prefer genuine interactions over posed smiles. Instead of directing every movement, I encourage families to spend time together, play, laugh, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

Elda’s family made this easy. The children explored the gardens and open spaces with excitement. Their parents joined in naturally, creating moments full of warmth and connection. The best photographs often come from these unscripted moments. A shared laugh, a gentle hug, or a playful interaction can tell a story better than any pose.

The gardens at Ayodya provided a beautiful green setting. Later, we moved closer to the beach, where the open space added a bright and airy feel to the images. As the sun lowered, the golden light brought a soft and dreamy atmosphere to the session. This natural light is one of the reasons I love photographing families in Bali during the late afternoon.

For me, family photography is about preserving memories. After all, childhood changes quickly and family moments become even more meaningful with time. Through these photographs, Elda and her family can look back on this chapter of their lives and remember the love, laughter, and connection they shared in Bali.

Thank you, Elda and family, for trusting me to document these memories. It was a pleasure spending the afternoon with all of you.

I wish your family continued happiness, good health, endless laughter, and many wonderful adventures together. May your bond grow stronger with every passing year, and may these photographs always bring back beautiful memories of your time in Bali.
