There is something special about photographing families in the early morning at Hyatt Regency Bali. When Simone and her family arrived for their session, the resort was still peaceful and quiet. The gardens were beautifully lit by the soft morning sun, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed family photoshoot.
I started the session with a gentle walk through the resort grounds, allowing everyone to settle into the experience naturally. Hyatt Regency Bali offers some of the most beautiful tropical gardens in Sanur, with winding pathways, mature trees, traditional Balinese details, and lush greenery around every corner. These elements create a wonderful variety of backdrops without needing to travel far within the property.
The gardens at Hyatt Regency Bali provide both open spaces and shaded areas, which are ideal for family photography. Throughout the session, I photographed the family together as well as individual portraits of each family member. The soft morning light helped create flattering portraits while keeping the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed.
The stone walls covered with greenery, tropical plants, and peaceful garden corners offered beautiful locations for a variety of photographs. Every section of the resort seemed to provide a new opportunity to create something unique while maintaining the natural feel of the session.

Best Time for Photos at Hyatt Regency Bali
For anyone considering a family photoshoot at Hyatt Regency Bali, I always recommend starting as early as possible. The ideal time is between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM.
During these early hours, the light is soft and gentle, temperatures are cooler, and the resort is much quieter. This allows me to create clean, natural images without distractions in the background. Early morning also helps families stay comfortable, especially when photographing young children.
It was a pleasure spending the morning with Simone and her family. I hope these photographs will always remind them of their time together in Bali and bring back many wonderful memories for years to come.
