I had the pleasure of photographing Erin and her wonderful family during their stay at The Tamantis Villa in Berawa, Bali. Our session began at the villa, where the lush tropical gardens and relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting for natural family portraits. The family enjoyed spending time together, sharing laughter and creating beautiful moments that reflected their close bond.
As the afternoon light softened, we made our way to Berawa Beach for sunset. Known for its wide shoreline, stunning ocean views, and breathtaking golden-hour light, Berawa Beach is one of our favorite locations for family photography in Bali. The beach offers plenty of space for children to play, families to walk together, and candid moments to unfold naturally against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.
Berawa Beach is especially beautiful during low tide. The wet sand creates natural reflections that add depth and elegance to photographs. The reflective surface also enhances the colors of the sunset and sky.
Low tide provides more space for families to walk, play, and interact naturally. Children can run freely, while parents enjoy the relaxed beach atmosphere. These conditions help create candid and memorable images.
