Kuta Beach is one of those locations that never gets old. The wide stretch of sand, the warm light in the afternoon, and that relaxed Bali energy make it a great spot for a family session. Even better, we caught it at low tide. When the tide is low, the beach opens up beautifully. The wet sand reflects the sky, there’s so much more space to move around, and everything just feels easier to photograph. High tide has its moments too, but honestly, low tide at Kuta Beach is hard to beat.
Kitty and her family chose Kuta Beach for their session, and with the iconic Hard Rock Hotel guitar monument nearby, we had a great mix of open beach and a fun Bali landmark to work with.
We started on the beach and just let things happen naturally. There were playful lifts with their baby girl and lots of laughing along the way. Then came those small in-between moments that you can’t really plan. Those are usually the best photos. The wet sand was throwing off lovely reflections, and the afternoon light was doing exactly what Bali light does best.

Finally, we wrapped up at the Hard Rock guitar monument. It felt like the perfect way to finish. A little bit of Bali landmark, a little bit of them.

Kitty, your little family is absolutely wonderful to photograph. Thank you so much for trusting me with these memories. I hope you all have a safe trip home. And whenever life gets busy, we hope these photos take you straight back to that afternoon on Kuta Beach.
